In order to provide the necessary direction for current and future needs regarding the Civic Campus, Lehi City has adopted a Civic Campus Master Plan. The plan includes the blocks of 100 W to 200 E and Main Street to 200 N. We are currently in the process of updating the plan, which should be complete by Fall 2020.
Lehi has outpaced previous population estimates, and the Census Bureau estimates Lehi’s 2019 population is 69,724. By 2050, the Mountainland Association of Governments (MAG) estimates Lehi’s population to be 124,436, which is a 78% increase from today’s population.
One of the most important needs for the Civic Campus Master Plan is space. Current facilities are maxed out and need additional space to better serve residents in the future as the population drastically increases. Facilities included in the Master Plan update are the Library, Literacy Center, Arts Center, Senior Center, City Hall, Fire Station 81, Courts, and a parking structure.
The Master Plan has a phased approach and could be built out over 20-30+ years. Pedestrian and bike paths will make it easier to get around the campus, a public plaza will provide space for events, and a parking structure is planned to alleviate parking needs.
