Lehi City was thrilled to open the highly anticipated Family Park on Saturday, September 14. However, a few details, such as the park’s official hours, are still being finalized. Unfortunately, inaccurate information has been circulating online, including the incorrect claim that Family Park would be closed on Sundays. Initially, the park was not scheduled to be open on Sunday, September 15, due to staffing constraints. However, we were able to open it from 10 AM to 4 PM that day.
Regrettably, some individuals disregarded the posted hours and rules, damaging the front gate by breaking into the park. Additionally, scooters were used on the splash pad, resulting in damage to the concrete.
We are grateful to our Parks Department for their dedicated efforts in bringing Family Park to the community. Please note that factors such as safety, weather, maintenance, and staffing all play a role in determining park hours. *Family Park will not be open Sunday, September 22*. The City Council will discuss the hours with the Parks Department during the September 24 City Council meeting. We appreciate the community’s patience as the City works to finalize the operating schedule.
The current hours for Family Park are:
Monday – Saturday
Park Hours: 9 am – Sunset
Splash Pad Hours: 10 am – Sunset (Weather Permitting)
