Literacy Center volunteers come twice a week for one hour, either Monday/Wednesday OR Tuesday/Thursday. Volunteer times during the school year are at 3 pm, 4 pm, or 5 pm, and in the summer 9 am, 10 am, 11 am and 12 noon. Each volunteer is placed with a teacher and assists in helping students in either reading or math. Youth (7th grade) through adults are always welcome to volunteer.
** Volunteer background checks are good for one calendar year. If you volunteered in the Winter 2023, Spring or Summer of 2024 and completed the background check process, DO NOT fill out a new registration form, call or email the Literacy Center to let us know the days and times you would like to volunteer.
